Maternal mortality remains one of the most pressing public health challenges in Nigeria. KTMF is committed to changing that.
Through our Maternal Health program, we provide free antenatal care education, postnatal support and safe delivery advocacy to women in underserved communities across Kwara State. We partner with local health facilities, trained community health workers and government agencies to ensure that every mother has access to the care she deserves. Our outreaches include free health screenings, distribution of maternal health kits and educational workshops on nutrition, hygiene and infant care.
Early detection saves lives. KTMF is on the front lines of cancer awareness and screening across Nigeria.
Our Cancer Awareness program focuses on educating communities about the risk factors, early warning signs and prevention strategies for common cancers including breast, cervical and prostate cancer. We organise free cancer screening outreaches, distribute educational materials and connect patients with treatment referral pathways. No one should die from a cancer that could have been caught early — that is the conviction that drives this program.
Access to basic healthcare should not be a privilege. KTMF is working to make it a reality for every Nigerian.
Our Community Health program delivers primary healthcare services, health education and wellness initiatives directly to rural and semi-urban communities. We organise periodic free medical outreaches, health talks, blood pressure and diabetes screenings, eye care services and immunisation support. By bringing healthcare to the doorstep of underserved communities, we are bridging the gap between people and the services they need.
When you empower a woman or a young person, you transform an entire community.
KTMF believes that sustainable development begins with empowered women and youth. Our empowerment programs include vocational skills training, entrepreneurship workshops, financial literacy education and access to micro-support resources. We work with young women, mothers and youth groups to build confidence, develop marketable skills and create pathways out of poverty. Our goal is not dependency — it is independence, dignity and self-sufficiency.

Our Mentoring and Leadership program pairs young Nigerians with experienced mentors who guide them through personal development, career growth and civic responsibility. We run structured mentoring cycles, leadership retreats, public speaking training and community service initiatives. We believe that leadership is not a position — it is a responsibility. And we are building young people who understand that and are ready to carry it.
Peace is not the absence of conflict. It is the presence of justice, dignity and understanding.
KTMF runs peace building programs that bring communities together through dialogue, reconciliation and shared purpose. We facilitate community conversations, inter-group dialogues, conflict resolution training and peace education in schools and youth groups. In a country as diverse as Nigeria, peace is not automatic — it must be actively built, nurtured and protected. That is the work we are committed to.

Our Capacity Building program provides targeted training, workshops and technical support to individuals, community groups and organisations. We cover areas including project management, proposal writing, organisational governance, monitoring and evaluation, and digital literacy. We also offer SIWES and IT industrial training placements for students seeking hands-on professional experience. By building capacity at every level, we are creating a stronger foundation for lasting change.
